Hyderabad, June 1 : Even as the State government has made elaborate arrangements for the State formation day celebrations at the Secunderabad Parade Grounds and in all districts across the State on June 2, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao is likely to announce some more welfare schemes and sops on the occasion.
The officials involved in making fool-proof arrangements at the Parade Grounds which is being decked up for the mega event of fourth anniversary of Telangana formation. Revenue, Police, Traffic and other departments are coordinating with each other for smooth and peaceful conduct of the event as Governor ESL Narasimhan and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao will attend the program.
The Chief Minister is scheduled to address the event and announce some sops on the occasion. Security has been beefed up at the Parade grounds and police wing is diverting regular traffic for smooth conduct of the celebration on Saturday. All the roads leading to main offices like Secretariat, Assembly and other offices are decorated with colourful illumination of lights. Even noted structures and historic monuments and other noted places have been bejewelled to mark the occasion, including Golconda Fort, Assembly building complex, Salarjung Museum, Liberty, NTR Marg and others. Tourism and culture wings are conducting special programs on the occasion.
