Hyderabad, Sept.7 : TRS will retain power by winning more than 100 Assembly seats in the next elections, Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao has said.
Before moving to Husnabad “Praja Ashirvada Sabha” in Siddipet district to be addressed by the TRS supremo and caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, Harish spoke to the media here and lashed out at the Opposition Congress for indulging in mindless statements. The Congress leaders were announcing sops in a ridiculous manner to woo the voters. But the people will not believe their promises and reject them outright, he opined.
Harish Rao said the people are aware and understood that they will face problems like power cuts and shortage of seeds and fertilisers if they vote for the Congress. The people have recognized the TRS as the party for development and welfare in the State. The TRS has developed the State into No 1 in all sectors, he claimed. The people, he said, will teach a lesson to the Congress in the next elections for making false statements and promises. He hoped that all those who got tickets in the TRS will win the elections. “It is a record that the TRS supremo offered tickets to all the sitting legislators for the next elections”, he hailed.
