Thieves broke open Hundis in temple in Shadnagar, flee with cash

Mahabubnagar, May 20 : Thieves broke into Sri Ramalingeshwara Swamy temple in Shadnagar in the early hours of Monday and decamped with cash from the donation boxes.
According to the Shadnagar police, the CCTV footage in the temple showed four thieves breaking into the temple at around 2 am. Four Hundi boxes were broke open two of them were placed near the sanctum sanctorum in the temple.
The police are yet to estimate the amount of cash stolen from the temple. The identity of the thieves is yet to be known. A case has been registered by the police and further investigation is underway. (NSS)
