Telangana Tourism operating package tours

Hyderabad, May 29 : Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation is operating package tours to important destinations for promoting tourism within and outside the State of Telangana. These package tours are being operated with Luxury Coaches (buses) owned by the Corporation.

The Corporation owns the largest fleet compared to any other Tourism Corporations in India. Corporation is pioneer in introducing new class of coaches like Volvo buses, Mercedes Benz Coaches, AC Sleeper Coaches, Caravan Vehicle etc.

With a view to modernize the fleet and provide comfortable travel to tourists, Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation has purchased two new AC Multi-Axle Volvo buses which were delivered on 29.05.2018. These buses will be introduced on Hyderabad-Shirdi and Hyderabad-Tirupati package tours shortly. It is also proposed to purchase two more AC Multi-Axle Ultra Modern Volvo buses and 4 AC Mini Luxury buses for operating package tours to important tourist destinations in the State.

The Corporation has recently introduced the “Telangana Temples Tour” and it is also proposed to introduce soon the “Hyderabad-Kaleshwaram Projects” Special Package tour covering Ranganayakula Sagar Project (near Siddipet), Sundilla barrage (near Manthani), Annaram pump house etc. The Corporation has also opened new Information & Reservation Counters at Corporate Office, Himayatnagar and also at Salarjung Museum for the convenience of tourists.

The tourists can book seats of package tours through on-line reservation system (www.tstdc.in), at counters of TSTDC and at Authorised Booking Agents of TSTDC.
