Hyderabad: Farmers from Devennapeta village of Hasanparthi Mandal of Hanumakonda district today stopped the ruling TRS party leaders when the latter visited the village to inspect a piece of land for holding Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s Public meeting.

The leaders were also accompanied by the local government officials. The obstruction of the TRS leaders has led to some violent movements in the area. The farmers staged a protest program demanding the TRS leaders to not hold the public meetings in farm lands.

It may be noted here that the CM of the state KCR has decided to hold a massive public meeting in Warangal to celebrate the 20 years birth anniversary of the party on 29th of this month. The TRS leaders like Kadiyam Srihari and some ruling party MLAs like Aroori Ramesh, Vinay Bhaskar visited the village.

The farmers warned the TRS leaders that they would commit suicide if the ruling party held its public meeting in their village.

Speaking on the occasion, the farmers alleged that the ruling party leaders were making false statements that they had agreed to allow them to hold the public meeting. They said that the ruling party leaders would not care for them after the Organization of the meeting. The Supporters of TRS Corporator Raju Naik attacked the farmers leading to mild tension in the area.
