Senior Journalist Mohammed Saleemuddin passes away,KCR expresses condolence

Hyderabad, Sept.14 : Senior Journalist Mohammed Saleemuddin, (47), of “Namaste Telangana” Telugu Daily passed away on Thursday night at a private hospital while undergoing treatment.

Earlier, he got treatment for Fileria at Star Hospital when he collapsed in his office Namaste Telangana weeks ago. The problem resumed again and he went to Yashodha hospital where he developed multiple organ failure leading to his demise on Thursday.

Saleemuddin worked with Andhra Prabha and Surya Telugu dailies before joining Namaste Telangana. Saleemuddin was a journalist worked sincerely and professionally and was undisputable person. He had good relations with all journalists including present generation. He entered into journalism in 1990 decades and started his career with Andhra Prabha Telugu daily as a stringer from Charminar dateline. Saleem got promotion in Andhra Prabha as a staffer reporter. Later, Saleemuddin joined Surya Telugu daily as senior reporter. According to his colleagues, Saleemuddin was a sincere journalist worked hard neglecting his health.

Leaders of all journalists unions, journalist friends extended grief over the demise of Saleemuddin and extended sympathies to the bereaved family. They urged the government to extend help to the bereaved family as he has no assets left behind his family. He is survived with wife, daughter and three sons.
