RTC bus goes missing from Hyderabad,later found dismantled in Nanded

Hyderabad, April 25 : In the wake of theft of a TSRTC Metro Express Bus (AP11 Z6254) belonging to Kushaiguda Bus Depot from Central Bus Station here on Wednesday, the Transport Minister V Prashanth Reddy took a serious note of criminal negligence of the officials concerned and inadequate security at the bus stations, ordered adequate security arrangements at all the bus stations in the city.

Later bus was found dismantled in a shed at Nanded in Maharashtra on Thursday. The Afzalgunj police, which registered the case of missing bus from Gowliguda Bus Station on Tuesday night, reached Nanded town and found the bus dismantled and its pieces piled into a heap in a shed. According to the police, miscreants had removed seats in the bus, and it was about to be crushed in the shed. The miscreants, who had stolen the bus, fled on seeing the police personnel at the shed. The police took the person, who was about to tear the bus into pieces, was taken into custody.
