Hyderabad: Department of Computer Science & Information Technology (CS&IT), Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) organized first virtual Alumni meet on December 11, 2021 to interact with the alumni now associated with various multinational companies.

Prof. Abdul Wahid, Dean, School of Technology acknowledged the success of alumni and the role and responsibility they are performing with enthusiasm.

While addressing the meet, Dr. Syed Imtiyaz Hasan, Head, Department of CS&IT described alumni as ambassadors of institutions and have great role in the development of their Alma Mater. According to him, 60-70% alumni of the department are employed, 20-25% pursuing higher education and some are self-employed.

Most of the alumni are currently working in multinational companies such as TCS, WIPRO, Infosys, Cognizant etc., as Software engineer, software developer, senior program analyst etc., across India and abroad. Prof. Pradeep Kumar also spoke on the occasion.

The alumni thanked coordinators for providing the platform to interact with the teachers, fellow classmates, seniors and juniors. They conveyed their willingness to support juniors in all possible aspects within their capacity. Ms. Khaleda Afroaz, Ms. Geeta Pattun, Mr. Anjar Ahsan, Mr. Amir Khan organised the program.
