Mahmood Ali pats Revenue dept on implementation of schemes

Hyderabad, May 28 : Deputy Chief Minister Mahamood Ali today said the Revenue department has been playing a key role in the implementation of the government schemes.
Inaugurating a Tahasildar office at Saidabad along with the officials, Ali said the State government has set a record by cleansing the land and revenue records pending for 80 years. Credit of this goes to Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, he said. Ali also appreciated the staff and officials for their involvement of this great job of revenue records cleansing. The officials are now free from any sort of pressure and providing services in a more transparent manner, Ali said.
The Revenue officials of Hyderabad were doing better job in this regard and the city was in forefront in several sectors, including marriage scheme of Shaadi Mubarak. KCR has designed the marriage scheme for the benefit of the poor girls, he claimed. He also said with foresight, the Chief Minister has launched 21 new districts and 125 mandals for providing improved services. While the State budget in 2013-14 was Rs 1.61 lakh crore in combined State, it was pegged at Rs 1.76 lakh cr in Telangana state he said. Thus, more budget is for more development, he remarked. The state has also achieved 21.9 per cent growth which is more than other States, he added.
