Hyderabad, Sept.16 : Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao today expressed shock at the demise of former AP Speaker Kodela Sivaprasada Rao. In a message, KCR conveyed his sympathies to the bereaved family members.
Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy expressed grief at Kodela’s death. He condoled the death and conveyed sympathies to the family members. He also wished departed soul rest in peace. Endowment Minister Indrakaran Reddy expressed his grief at the sad demise of former AP Speaker Kodela Sivaprasada Rao.
On hearing the death of Kodela Sivaprasada Rao, senior TRS leader and former deputy chief minister Kadiam Srihari rushed to the Basavatarakam Cancer hospital at Banjara Hills and consoled the family members of the departed leader.
AP CM Jagan grieves
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy expressed grief over the death of former AP Speaker Kodela Sivaprasada Rao. YS Jagan conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family members. Taking to Twitter, Jagan said Kodela Sivaprasada Rao had a long political innings since the birth of TDP in 1983. He was a popular doctor. He prayed for his soul to rest in peace.
Huge deficit to party: Chandrababu
Former Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has condoled Kodela’s death. Taking to Twitter, Naidu said Kodela’s death is a “deficit for the party and the people”. “I am unable to digest the death of Sivaprasada Rao, who joined medical profession and emerged as most popular doctor. I extend my deepest sympathies to his family members, praying God that He may grant Kodela peace,” he said.
BJP leaders mourn Kodela
In a statement here today, Telangana State BJP president Lakshman said expressed his deepest condolences to family members of Kodela Sivaprasada Rao, on behalf of the party and praying God to rest his soul in peace
BJP chief spokesperson K Krishna Saagar Rao, in a statement said, “Shocked to know that former minister, former AP speaker Kodela Sivaprasada Rao committed suicide. I extend my heartfelt condolences on the unfortunate demise of the senior politician. May his soul rest in peace.”
