Hyderabad, Sept 4 (Munsif News) : Telangana Chief Electoral Officer, Rajath Kumar who met with the Chief Secretary Dr. S.K. Joshi to discuss on the poll arrangements, reviving the voter lists and issues said that the Election Commission is ready to hold elections if it comes early as speculated.
He said already the draft electoral roll has been released and commenced the special revision of electorates, the people are free to enroll and can make objections for corrections.
However, he said Election Commission will decide if the State goes for dissolution of the Assembly, as per the direction of Election Commission of India we will accordingly as per the schedule decided.
He said that the Election Commission has launched a special software of ERO Net 2.0 version to remove repeated voters, duplicate or those irrelevant. The Officials from the Election Commission of India are here to provide traiing to the state machinery for the elections. The ERO Net 2.0 version replaces the previous electoral roll management system. (Munsif News)
