ASSURED TO CONSTRUCT MORE AT MUSLIM AREAS
Hyderabad, Mar 29 (Munsif News); The Deputy Chief Minister (Revenue) Mohd. Mahmood Ali informed the House that the construction of 54 Urdu Ghar-cum-Shaadi Khanas are in progress in various parts of the State for which Rs. 9.87 crores has been sanctioned in this financial year 2017-18.
He also assured that in the coming Financial year 2018-19 funds of Rs. 15 crores has been allocated to the Urdu Academy for the construction of Urdu ghar cum Shaadi khanas, the works will be taken jointly by the Urdu Academy and the concerned Collectors.
Answering to the question raised by Ch. Ramachandra Reddy of BJP and others across the party line, who said that there is need for constructing more Urdu Ghar -cum-Shaadi Khanas in the Muslims Populated areas saying that the government is paying Rs. 1.00,116 for the marriage of poor families girls of Muslims, but keeping in view that huge amount is being spent for the function halls, the poor families of Muslim community is facing problem, if the government construct these Shaadi Khanas in large number it will helpful to them.
The Deputy Chief Minister agreeing to Ch. Ramachandra Reddy said he will sanction 4 Shaadikhanas in his constituency were the Muslims population lives in large number and also assured the other members sanctions will be accorded. He said, construction of Urdu ghar cum shaadikhanas is the continuous scheme, there is no lack of funds, in the coming financial year priority will be given for the construction of Shaadikhanas and requested the members to identify the lands and bring to the government knowledge
