COMMUNAL FORCES TRYING TO DISRUPT LAW AND ORDER IN STATE

Hyderabad, Mar 27 (Munsif News): One of the member of the Old City of Hyderabad has raised during the debate on budget and appropriation Bill that the communal forces have become active again and trying to disrupt the law and order situation in the state.

during the rally on the occasion of Ram Navami, the communal people who were in the rally has pelted stones and colours at the Mosque at Nirmal. Without naming anybody, the Old City member said that in Hyderabad too, while taking out rally, provocative speeches has been made in the rally.

In the debate, the Old City member said that the transfer of Central funds to Telangana is less than the projected in the last 4 years and also said, the State own revenue is also less but due to the introduction of GST, the revenue from Commercial Taxes has been improved. He demanded allocation of Rs. 5,000 crores for the development of Old City. He again reiterated that the budget for Minorities in increasing every year, but when the matter of expenditure comes, it has been reduced, he pointed that in the year 2016-17, the budget allocation to Minorities was Rs. 1050 crores and the expenditure was Rs. 846 crores, Similarly in the year 2017-18 the budget allocation to Minorities was Rs. 1250 crores but the actual expenditure has come down to Rs. 816 crores. He said this is the insult to Minorities who is supporting to TRS government and the Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao. (Munsif News)
