BAN IMPOSED ON STRIKES IN TSRTC FOR 6 MONTHS FROM JUNE 1.

Hyderabad, May 31 (Munsif News): The Telangana government has imposted ban on strikes for six months in any service under the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) constituted under the Road Transport Corporation Act-1059 with effect from June 1.

According to Principal Secretary to Transport, Road and Building, Sunil Sharma, the government have considered that in the public interest, it is necessary and expedient to prohibit strikes in any service under the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation and directed the Managing Director of TSRTC to arrange to obtain and communicate the orders of the government prohibiting strikes in any service in exercise of powers conferred of the Telangana Essential Services Maintenance Act in order to provide uninterrupted transport facility to the travelling public.
